Volunteer track builders are sought to assist with the WCC-approved, volunteer-led, 820m long Satara Crescent to Northern Walkway section of Korimako track. Details are available on the Facebook page: Korimako Track Builders.
Work begins at 9am on Saturday mornings, beginning with 25 January 2025, from the top of Satara Crescent. This section of track is similar to the recently completed section of track between Awarua St and Ridvan Grove. This is a family friendly activity, with (supervised) children welcome, as with previous track builds. Grubbers are available to adults, if needed. After the completed track reaches the bridge site, work will continue by moving south from the picnic table area on the Northern Walkway, up from Clark Street.
