Rules of the Society

The Onslow Residents Community Association (ORCA) is an incorporated society (#2690552) and a registered charity (CC55636). The Association is managed by an elected committee of four executive members and up to 12 committee members.

Membership

ORCA has two levels of membership:

Ordinary Members– resident members who pay the annual fee are entitled to vote at meetings.
Honorary Life Members – conferred in recognition of long service or extraordinary service.

Special General Meeting 31 January 2026

This Special General Meeting is being called by the Managing Committee to consider and approve a proposed new Constitution. The current Constitution/Rules of the Association do not comply with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022, and the Act requires all societies to re-register before 5 April 2026 with a Constitution that is in line with the Act.
